The first confirmed speakers have been announced.
The High North Center at Nord University has announced the first confirmed speakers for the High North Dialogue 2025, including Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
The conference will be held March 26-27 at Radisson Blu in Bodø, with an informal pubinar welcoming early arrivals on March 25.

– Having the Prime Minister join us shows the importance of discussing the new realities facing the Arctic region.
The conference will explore several key themes including:
- How security politics are reshaping business and society
- The new space industry
- The green and blue shift
- Nordic cooperation
- Journalism in times of war
Other confirmed speakers include U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Eric Meyer, Professor Michael Byers from the University of British Columbia, and High North News Editor-in-Chief Trine Jonassen.
The discussions will be moderated by leading Arctic experts such as Andreas Østhagen, Andreas Raspotnik and Jan-Gunnar Winther.

– We’re building a program that combines high-level policy discussions with practical business perspectives while ensuring young voices are heard throughout.
The conference will feature the traditional Ambassador’s Panel, along with the High North Hero Award ceremony and the High North Young Entrepreneur competition. Side events and a pubinar will complement the main program.
